TITLE: ASSOCIATE MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Mr. Vyas obtained his Master of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Windsor in 2017.
Upon completing his graduate studies, he commenced his professional career in the tool and die industry, where he was responsible for the design of Hot
Runner Systems for injection‑moulding applications until 2020. In that year, he relocated to Eastern Ontario and accepted a position as a Mechanical Designer, contributing to the development of customized ink and paint dispensing systems.
He has been a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario since 2021. Following the attainment of his professional designation, he was promoted to the role of Engineering Manager.
In 2026, he joined DDDG Engineering Services as an Associate Mechanical Engineer.
SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS:
3D Modelling and Drafting
Strong capabilities in 3D modelling and drafting, with proficiency in SolidWorks, and Creo for producing detailed engineering drawings. He assisted in establishing an internal Creo‑based PDM system to support CAD management and design standardization. He also created and delivered software training to improve designer efficiency.
Have also worked with CAD software like AutoCAD and NX.
Heat Gain and Loss Calculations
Trained in residential heat loss and gain calculations in accordance with ASHRAE/CSA/OBC guidelines.
Machine Design and Support
Led the conceptual design of custom machinery for ink, paint, and chemical dispensing systems. Delivered solutions exceeding $500K in value, oversaw installation on-site, and provided ongoing engineering support post‑deployment.
Research and Development
Experienced in leading Research and Development initiatives focused on advancing machinery, automation, and process technologies. Skilled in taking concepts from early‑stage feasibility through prototyping, testing, and full design validation. Adept at applying analytical methods, hands‑on experimentation, and cross‑functional collaboration to develop innovative, commercially viable solutions. Consistently drive improvements in performance, reliability, and manufacturability while ensuring alignment with safety, regulatory, and cost targets.
